“Hidden Gem” is a vibrant jewel-tone purple, and reminiscent of a purple garnet or deep amethyst–and it’s the only one we produced in the last day of dyeing! Semi-solid with tonal variations throughout provides subtle interest and excitement as you work this gem of a yarn. Blue-Faced Leicester wool, commonly called “BFL,” is almost as fine as merino, but stronger. Its light and resilient qualities lend to socks, shawls or a variety of accessories and garments. High-twist 4-ply wool with nylon offers increased strength. Machine wash gently, and air dry.
